MEET THE TEAM
Eric James
Creative director,
Eric has always felt the need to create and capture. Self taught, he picked up his first DSLR over14 years ago. Shot his first wedding a year later on a beach in Mexico, since then, traveled the globe as a photographer, cinematographer and in 2023 was award nominated for his work. Eric discovered his love and passion for video in 2014 which was a culmination of all his past and present passions as an audio producer/engineer, time-lapse, filmmaker, photographer and wedding photographer. 2015 we introduced cinema to Vancouver Wedding Studios and since then constantly pushed ourselves to grow, be better and discover the boundaries of what's possible.
Kin Wong
Senior Photographer, Cinematographer
Classically trained with a visual arts background from UBC. With over a decade in the industry, Kin brings a unique and different artistic vision to your special day. Fun and quirky, he loves to capture candid moments which stems from his love of street photography.

TL;DR If you want to have a good time and get some epic pictures, Vancouver Wedding Studios is your answer! We first met Eric for a consultation through a referral and we immediately loved his vibe! There were so many packages to choose from with very reasonable pricing. The one thing I was looking for in a photographer and videographer is 100% honesty. We asked Eric and his team to be blunt with us during our shoots and they really delivered, while making us laugh and look amazing. Eric and his team also made all of our bridal party and wedding guests feel super comfortable, which is a bonus! We are absolutely IN LOVE with all of our engagement pictures, wedding pictures and videos. Thank you so much Eric and team! We can't wait to have you shoot our future events too! :)

My husband Zac and I chose Eric and Vancouver Wedding Studios to capture our special day and we are so glad we did! We opted to just film our ceremony so we wanted to choose someone that would give us a beautiful high quality video and that is exactly what Eric and his team did. We also opted to get a highlight video and it was the best decision we made! The highlight video is gorgeous and is the perfect clip to watch whenever I feel nostalgic about the wedding. Eric and his team were all the things you want on your wedding day: fun, cool, funny and professional. I had an absolute blast with them and Eric made planning easy (even when we had to replan it 3x due to covid). Vancouver wedding studio was able to give me a sizable preview of my photos (~200photos) within a week of the wedding which was great and appreciated. The rest of the photos came about 2months later which I was very impressed with because 2022 was a BUSY wedding season for everyone. I would highly suggest Vancouver Wedding Studios for their stunning photos and outstanding practices.

We highly recommend Vancouver Wedding Studios. Eric and Kin photographed our wedding and they were EVERYWHERE capturing every detail. We had a November wedding and it poured with rain, but it didn't phase them in the slightest. They adapted to everything that came their way. We were looking for someone who takes great candid photos and they delivered. They made everyone feel comfortable, were incredibly patient, and made us all look photogenic (which we are not lol.) The photos turned out beautifully and we could not be happier to have had Eric and Kin as part of our Wedding Dream Team!

Vancouver Wedding Studios are the best of the best. Eric and his team are phenomenal. They did the videography for our wedding at the beginning of November.
